Permission Marketing Policy

Inbox Marketing provides web-based software enabling organizations of all sizes to send permission-based emails to their subscribers. Inbox Marketing believes in and practices only permission-based email marketing. Our client members may only use our software to send emails to customers and prospects that have agreed to receive email from them (opt-in), and are forbidden to transmit unsolicited commercial email (spam) via our system.

Members Agreement

Our clients agree not to use our system for the sending of unsolicited email. For any opt-in list of email addresses used in our system, members agree to provide Inbox Marketing with the source of the email addresses and the method used to capture the data. We encourage our members to respect their customers' time by controlling the frequency of mailings to individual email addresses. Our clients agree that they may not use rented, appended, or purchased lists, or any other list that contains email addresses captured in any other method than opt-in. The use of opt-out lists is prohibited in our system. Inbox Marketing retains the right to review client member lists and emails to verify that client members are abiding by the privacy and permission policies set forth herein.

How do we protect your privacy?

We use strict security measures to protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of data used by our system. Please review our Privacy Policy for more details.

Why did you receive an email from our system?

If you received an email from us, it is because one of our clients used the Inbox Marketing software system to send you an email. Our client members must agree that all email addresses used in our system are opt-in names that have given permission to the client to send them email. We promise to keep your email address secure and private and agree not to use it for other purposes.

How do I get off an email list?

Each email sent contains an easy and automated way for you to unsubscribe. Also, you can change your expressed interests at any time. If you wish to unsubscribe or change your interests, simply follow the instructions at the bottom of any email. It is safe to do this and will not result in more messages.

Will your information ever be shared, sold or rented?

We will never share, sell, or rent an individual's personal information unless ordered by a court of law.

Confirmed Opt-In

Inbox Marketing has taken an additional step for permission-based marketing by building the technology for "confirmed opt-in" into our web site email collection tools used by us and many of our clients. Any time someone adds their email address using our name collection tools for our clients using confirmed opt-in, they will be sent an e-mail asking them to verify that they wish to receive communications via email. Only those responding affirmatively to the confirmation will be opted in for future mailings via the Inbox Marketing system.

Reporting Unwanted Mail as Spam

If you don't recognize who used our service to send you a message, you can report it to us as spam by sending it to abuse@inboxmktg.com

We receive, investigate, catalog, and take action based on these complaints. If you're worried that we would simply "list wash" your address without further investigation (we won't), feel free to report the message to whatever spam reporting entity you feel most comfortable working with. Spamcop at www.spamcop.net provides an easy way to report unwanted mail as spam. You can also use your email provider's (AOL, Hotmail, Yahoo) "report as spam" mechanism to notify the ISP that the message is spam. ISPs use this information to determine good senders from bad senders, and we regularly work with ISPs to take action based on that data.
